The AMS 3” exhaust system was developed to optimize exhaust flow while shedding an amazing 40lbs of weight from the factory cat-back system. By eliminating dedicated twin pipes, AMS was able to utilize a single 3” primary pipe which allowed not only a remarkable reduction in weight, but also a sound unlike any other system in the market. A Subtle and tame stock sound at idle converts to a deep rich distinctive note at wide open throttle.
The AMS exhaust features mandrel bent piping and is TIG welded with 100% 304 stainless components including flanges and hangers. Unlike the competition, the AMS BMW 335xi system does not have any flow restrictions that “neck down” and hurt performance. This system also features a high quality polished muffler and exhaust tips while utilizing stock mount locations. Another unique feature to this product is the V-Band connections. These high quality fasteners allow for easy removal and installation of the entire system. Gone are the days of exhaust gaskets and awkward slip fit joints which can leak. In addition we have a factory first solid downpipe flange allowing for fool-proof downpipe alignment to our cat-back system.
