The aFe Elite Stage 2 Cold Air Intake System for your BMW 335i (E90/92) is a radical design which was engineered to let maximum air in while keeping engine heat out. This sealed cold air intake (CAI) produces a max 14 hp and 27 ft lb. torque increase over the stock filter system.
Featuring two uniquely shaped molded intake ducts which replace the single stock intake tract, this intake system smoothly directs increased air flow from two directions for improved volumetric efficiency and maximum performance. This design is so effective that the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) at normal running speeds with this aFe intake system is 11 degrees lower than the factory intake.
Completing the stage 2 kit are the dynamic air scoops (D.A.S.) when mounted behind the iconic kidney bean front grill, help direct more fresh cooler air into the intake system. Also included is a re-usable/washable conical air filter which when installed is enclosed in a molded plastic housing and mounted on a oval intake tube that smoothly supplies maximum air to the twin turbos.
