APR Performance Carbon Fiber Wing:
Don’t waste your money on a carbon fiber wing that only looks good. If you are serious about downforce and want track tested results look no further than the GTC Series adjustable carbon fiber wing. APR has introduced this wing in multiple lengths for all of those midsize and compact sports cars that want to fly around the track.
Using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) to validate their design, APR is able to maximize downforce without causing excess drag. The 3D airfoil shape is perfect for high speed applications. Every APR wing is polished and inspected to ensure you receive a high quality product. Other features include: “aircraft grade” 6061 billet aluminum pedestals, rust free stainless steel bolts, and carbon fiber side plates.
APR Performance Front Air Dam: (aka front lip)
In recent years producers of sports cars have started to incorporate items such as factory undertrays and other aerodynamic components to help produce a “zero-lift” effect. Although this is a great technology for street use, many road racers are looking for additional stability and traction during fast turns and maneuvers.
APR Performance has created front air dams (a.k.a. front lip) to help maximize the performance of your vehicle by reducing lift, and increasing stability via generated additional downforce. The APR Performance Front Air Dam integrates perfectly with your factory bumper via a factory fit mount design.
APR Performance Front Splitter:
To combat the effects of front end lift, APR Carbon Fiber Front Wind Splitters are utilized to give extra traction and control in the front of a car. By creating a high pressure area on top of the wind splitter, high pressure air flow is restricted to flow underneath a car. With low pressure below the car, the effect of lift is reduced and a driver can gain from the extra traction and control.
APR Performance Rear Diffuser:
Diffusers work in conjunction with other aerodynamic components of a car to help produce downforce. Because a car displaces air as it moves forward, the air molecules in the rear of the car get disrupted causing a vacuum of low pressure air.
To help channel the high speed air flow coming from underneath the car, diffusers redirects the high speed air flow to transition smoothly transition into the low pressure vacuum in the rear. This encourages a smoother flowing air flow underneath the car and allows better performance from other aerodynamic components such as aerodynamic wings.
APR Performance Radiator Cooling Plate:
The flow of air is not only limited to the outside of a car. To maximize cooling capabilities, a radiator needs a direct flow of air to allow an engine to maintain consistent temperatures on the race track. Because of structural gaps above the radiator, the flow of air could escape making the radiator not as efficient as it could be.
To help improve the flow of air into the radiator, APR Carbon Fiber Radiator Cooling Plates can be utilized to channel the flow of air directly to the radiator. This will improve the efficiency of the radiator while adding a high-tech, race inspired look to your engine bay.
